Anodizing Lines & Equipment
An anodizing line is a series of process tanks — degreasing, etching, desmutting, anodizing, coloring, sealing and cascade rinsing — connected by a hoist or automated transport system, powered by a DC rectifier, and supported by ventilation, dosing and wastewater treatment. EVESS designs, fabricates and commissions every part of that line in-house.
Line Types We Build
Automatic Anodizing Lines
Fully automated hoist or autooperator transport with PLC/SCADA control, real-time monitoring and remote dispatcher access — built for consistent high-volume output.
Manual & Semi-Automatic Lines
Operator-guided process steps with automated temperature, dosing and current control — sized for lower volumes without sacrificing process repeatability.
Hard Anodizing (Type III)
Low-temperature, high-current-density configuration with reinforced cooling for thick, wear-resistant coatings on aerospace and MRO components.
Scope of Supply
Manual vs Semi-Automatic vs Automatic
| Throughput | Operators | Best For | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Manual | Low | 1–2 per shift | Small-batch, prototyping, job shops |
| Semi-Automatic | Medium | 1 per shift | Medium-volume production runs |
| Automatic | High | Supervisory only | Continuous, high-volume manufacturing |
Layout Configurations
U-shape
Compact footprint, single operator zone at the return leg.
Return-type
Loading and unloading share one end for tight building envelopes.
Straight-through
Linear process flow for maximum throughput where floor space allows.
What Determines the Price
Automation level, tank material and count, rectifier capacity, and whether wastewater treatment and ventilation are in scope all move the number.
